Ice, ice, beta! The Lillooet Ice Festival is just around the corner, and we’ve planned a great event. Mark your calendars, because from Jan 29-31, the charming town of Lillooet plays host to the premier West Coast Ice Festival.

The 2027 Festival is going back to a 2-day format but really it’s almost 2 ½ days with new Friday evening presentations. Join us for the weekend packed with laughter, socializing, the latest gear, workshops, and fantastic ice climbing clinics. Bring your desire to learn.

With the newly added Friday evening event you can check-in at registration, have a drink with friends, and take in the popular Avalanche Show! The presentation focuses on avalanche awareness specific to ice climbers in the Duffy Lake and Bridge River regions. Learn about avalanche paths, and decision making unique to coastal ice climbs.

Also new for 2027 we are moving the demo gear to Marble Canyon. Vendor Village will be stationed in the forest below the climbs to make demos super convenient. Now you will be able to test drive the latest gear from each brand back-to-back. Don’t forget to grab a hot dog and hot chocolate from Don’s Dogs when you’re down there!

With music, incredible presentations, and amazing raffle prizes, the Lillooet Ice Festival brings ice climbers together in a celebration of our West Coast community. This festival values inclusivity and strives to break down barrier’s allowing all climbers to participate and feel a sense of belonging.

This event will take place on the unceded and ancestral territory of the St’át’imcets speaking peoples of the St’át’imc Nation, and has been stewarded by them since time immemorial. The term unceded acknowledges the dispossession of the land and the inherent rights that St’át’imc Nation hold to the territory. The term serves as a reminder that St’át’imc have never left their territory and will always retain their jurisdiction and relationships with the territory. We are visitors - please be respectful.
